National Community Development Week was created in the 1980s to raise awareness about the National Community Development Association (NCDA) and the many services it provides to local governments, most notably the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The NCDA has appointed the week of April 1-5th, 2024, to honor, support, and educate communities about the unparalleled value and successes of these programs.
This week, iWorQ proudly commemorates the city and county government employees dedicated to bettering their communities through community development initiatives. They manage permits, code enforcement, planning and zoning, licensing, and so much more. We extend gratitude and appreciation to everyone involved in improving their local municipalities.
At iWorQ, we know how hard community development departments work, which is why we’re committed to helping them maximize their efficiency. iWorQ’s cloud-based software helps community development workflows run smoothly.
