What is an NPS Score?

 A Net Promoter Score (NPS) is a metric developed by Bain & CO. This metric is the gold standard for measuring customer satisfaction. It is calculated based on a single question: "How likely are you to recommend our company, on a scale to 10?"

Respondents' ratings are grouped into three categories: Promoters (9-10 rating), Passives (7-8 rating), and Detractors (6 or below rating).
The NPS is calculated by subtracting the percentage of Detractors from the percentage of Promoters. The final score can range from -100 to +100.

An NPS above 0 is good, above 20 is favorable, above 50 is excellent, and scores in the 70–80+ range are considered top tier.
