RFP Information
To purchase iWorQ you will NOT need to go through the Request for Qualification (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
Historically government agencies have used RFQ and RFP as part of their purchasing process. These purchasing methods were primarily used to facilitate a bid, make a large purchase, or as part of a complex sale. In addition, they are helpful when multiple departments are involved, or contracts commit money for more than one fiscal year, or when the purchase requires dedicated staff and long-term resources.
By definition, agencies issue a request for proposal when the solution is not already available or when the agency has very specific needs. Using a proposal to purchase a solution already available can be problematic.
